How to read the tread number
Tread is measured in millimetres, at the lowest of three readings. A new tire has about 8–9 mm; Ontario's legal minimum is 1.5 mm.
Nothing over eight years old reaches our shelf. Not sure of your size? It is on your sidewall, reading like 225/65R17 — or give us the year, make and model.

Where can I buy used tires in London, Ontario?
At 519 Tires, 140 Clarke Rd, London, ON N5W 5E1. Call or text 519-318-2292. We’re open Monday to Friday 8 am to 6:30 pm and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm, closed Sundays.
Is installation included with your used tires?
Yes. Installed prices include mounting, balancing, valve stems and disposal of your old tires — nothing is added at the counter.
How much tread do your used tires have?
Every tire is measured in millimetres in three places, and we list the lowest reading. A new tire has about 8–9 mm; we don’t sell anything under 4 mm, and nothing over eight years old reaches our shelf.
Do you sell used winter tires?
Yes. We carry pre-owned winter sets with the snowflake rating that qualifies for the Ontario winter tire insurance discount. Use “Show winter tires” to see what’s in stock.
Do you ship tires?
No. Every order is installed or picked up at 140 Clarke Rd in London. Stock moves daily, so call or text to confirm before you drive out.
